LH 112 = NGC 2095 is an attractive gathering of stars and small clusters lying in a pretty neighbourhood
16″ at 228x: Lovely! LH 112 = NGC 2095 is an oblong shape, elongated 3′ x 1.5′ E-W and it stands out well thanks to the three small clusters it contains, its sprinkling of small stars and the background glow of unresolved stars. It appears to have three separate sections. The brightest section is SL 669, which lies on the east side. It appears bright, 1′ diameter, with a few mag 13.5-14 stars resolved around the edges. SL 669’s binary companion, BRHT 20b (Sep 1.34′; Pa 76°), lies 1.2′ to its west, and appears as a 30″ NW-SE arc of 3 stars. Mag 11.3 HD 270050 lies halfway between BRHT 20b and KMHK 1253, which lies at the west end. This small cluster appears bright and round, 30″ diameter, with no stars resolved.
